Standby problem with ATI XPERT 2000 PRO???

Anyone know if the ATI XPERT 2000 PRO, RAGE 128PRO Card is unable to come out of an S3 (complete power down) stand by? One of the comments on Newegg's site says it only works with S1 (software type) stand by.

That would be a MB BIOS/OS issue, not videocard. But why use such an old slow card anyway? The latest integrated and/or onboard graphics solutions will offer better performance.

I think it's a mobo issue as well, but wanted to try to confirm.

As for getting a slow card, this is for a strictly non-gaming system, so I really don't need a better card. I may check out the nForce mobos with IGP though. Thanks for the suggestion.
