Standby mode crashes the computer after SP2 install?

Has anyone had this problem after installing SP2?

The computer doesn't exactly crash, but it just sits there saying the computer is entering standby mode, but never does, and I can still move my mouse around.

How can I fix it?
 
Have to checked Dell for BIOS updates? There may be other updates as well, for vid drivers and such. My D600 works fine after SP2 install, including going in and out of standby (just confirmed again).
 
I didnt have any problems and still dont. However I reinstalled using a Slipstreamed version of XP with SP2 in it. I hardly ever actually shut mine off, just close it and go.
