Hey guys,
I need to wall-mount a display that I picked up for our lab, and I grabbed the Amazon basics articulating arm, because we need to be able to have full dimensional (and possible quantum space) movement of this display in our work area.
The problem, is that I didn't realize that the default stand on the display, when removed, leaves that ~ 1cm+ nub in the center of the VESA mount area, which doesn't work with the arm that we have (already mounted, by the way) because it has a full mounting plate. So, I need stepped adapters to screw into the display so that I can attach the mounting plate above the stand nub.
I couldn't find any specifications on the QNIX website, or on the Newegg page, but I imagine this is fairly standard--what is the typical thread size for the female part of the mount on the display? I have M4 screws that came with the mounting arm, but the threads on the display are much larger, and I don't know if they are metric (Assumed) or imperial. So, I need an adapter with an internal (female) M4, with external male x threads, that provides ~1cm lift on the back of the display to attach the plate flush with the adapters and the M4 screws.
I often order from these guys, but I don't know which male threads I need on the adapters:

I assume that going with a collection of M6 and M8 adapters, I should be fine...
