Standard for 4-pin 12v connector?

Does anyone know if there is a standard maximum length for this cable? Mine doesn't reach the port and so I was looking at getting an extension like the one found here:

http://www.canadacomputers.com/produ...item_id=011220

My only issue is that I know there are some standards in place for max lenght of cables. I've really only seen this kind of standard for data cables, but I'm wondering if there are any standards out there for ATX power cables as well.

Thanks.

There is no such thing as "std" max cable length. What matters is the resistance of the cable and besides length this is subject to the cable's quality also. That extension you found should work just fine.
