i bought the 50" 6U panasonic from costco last week and really like the tv. i think the screen is the same as the 42". I returned a 50" Maxent plasma before buying the panasonic. the picture quality difference, especially in SD is amazing. HD is excellent as well.

Yeah, Tweeter = HiFi Buys, which is a fairly large retail electronics chain mostly in the southeast. No worries there.

a couple years ago i bought a ht setup through tweeter - but it was at showcase electronics, a retail store. good product and a good deal...

Just bought this TV price matched at best buy from tweeter on friday and I love it. I was coming from an old 27 inch tube so I think the standard def cable looks miles better than before. Absolutely loving this tv.
