Stan Lee wins lawsuit against Marvel.

Its about time, its a damn shame Marvel did'nt just pay the guy in the first place. Stan Lee is responsible for a large portion of Marvel's success, especially during the early years

He already makes $1 million a year, how much more do you need? Does he want to become the next Bill Gates or something?

He already earns a $1 million a year salary from Marvel as part of the agreement, but felt he was getting stiffed on additional income due him under the deal.

it all depends... enve though it made 800 million, that does not mean that he gets 80 million dollars, its all about percentages... if marvel only got say 100 million dollars for making Spiderman (because they're not the company that produced it) then Stan will only get like 10 million. Its all that simple. They make it seem like hes getting ALOT more than he actually will.

He's entitled to his pay no matter how much it is. Go back to your hole you jealous troll.

Yeah, no kidding. I'm surprised they let it go to court if they weren't certain they would win.

thank you for that reply.:brokenheart:🙂

Forget the money, I think the principle is more important. He should have been compensated and the company was wrong.

why is marvel battling this ? He signed a contract stating the terms... he should just produce it and it's done.... what am I missing ?

The article said he might be entitled to profits from DVD and merchandise sales, too. It all adds up pretty quickly.
