Hi There,

I am building the sixth of six computers for an office here and as tends to be the case, I am getting weird problems with the last one.

THe system specs are:

AMD 1.2 Tbird
DFI AK76-SN mobo
128 MB Crucial RAM
Savage4 Vid
Linksys 10/100 Nic
WD 30 Gig 7200 RPM hd
SONY 52X CdRom
Mitsubishi floppy
Allied 350W PS

So the first problem was that the HD wasn't being recognized at AUTODETECT. Checked the drive, power, cables and ports....no luck. Finally flashed the bios and it recognized the drive...Yah! However, now, the system is very slow in detecting the drives, slow running through the rest of the post and dies at the DMI Verification point....won't even boot to floppy!!!

Anyway, I have been having a wee problem with the distributor and so I HOPE it isn't the mobo - especially since he put the processor, and HSF together and tested the mobo with passing grades!!!!

Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

:disgust:
