In Stalker I'm stuck. I'm at the level where you have to descend downstairs into the secret lab at X18. The mission is to find the documents and return them to the barkeep. I have found the codes to two locked doors and passed through them. I'm at the control room now and just picked up the documents. The problem is the only doorway out of the lab is on fire and when I try to open it I get a message saying someone is holding it from the other side.

I've been at this for 15 minutes and can't find another exit. Oh yeah, and there's an anomaly floating around the room shooting fire at me. There doesn't seem to be any other controls to open secret doors either. Help!
 
Need to kill the floating fireballs...then after that the Army will send squads to storm the lab, after defeating them go to Cordon via the new exit south of Dark Valley.
 
Yeah, those anomalies actually aren't anomalies at all, they're cloaked butt ugly monsters that only show up when dead. Took me a while to figure that out.
 
They are the tele-pyrokinetic bastards and are responsible for those randome flame cannons that you can't get away from. The same goes for the anti-grav garbage flingers.
