STALKER problems

Up till today, I was running the 158.45 Beta drivers and everything was fine... I played STALKER (w/ float32 + sharper textures mods) and didn't have any problem. Since then I have upgraded to the 163.11 drivers because they're supposed to be better for World in Conflict. I just tried to play STALKER and I get what appears to be a completely black screen. Everything appears to be rendered, however, because when I throw a grenade or wind comes by, I can see the grass and other foliage. My gun is also rendered as I can see it when zoomed in and firing. Everything is just extremely dark, and I can't see anything. Does anyone else have this problem with the new 163.11 drivers?

Well I just checked it out for you, mine works fine. A couple of things I would check, play with the brightness, contrast, gamma, and digital vibrance (finally back with the 163.11). Also check the in game brightness setting, sometimes it's too simple. If that didn't work I would uninstall the drivers and any third party driver utilities (ntune, rivatuner, nhancer, etc.), reboot into safe mode and run guru3D's driver sweeper, then reboot and reinstall all. If it still doesn't work reinstall the game too. I did find the 163.11 didn't play nice with my old install of those 3rd party utilities, I did end up reinstalling all of them to get what I wanted. I'm really happy with these drivers, good performance, stable so far, they brought back digital vibrance, and they added that new forced HDR setting which may be cool with games that didn't support it.
