STALKER: An exercise in masochism?

i still haven't spent more than an hour at this game, the game has no AA and when i forced it via nvidia cp, it destroyed my fps.

It sounds like your graphics card can't keep up. I can do 2560x1600 with 2xTrSS on my GTX580.

I got it on Games for Windows sometime last year for 0.99. Couldn't pass it up at that price 🙂. I've played it for maybe two hours and it does take some getting used to. I'm using the Stalker Complete 2009 mod but I installed it from the start so I'm not exactly sure what the original was like.
