Stale Coke...

Is it possible for a can of Coke to go stale? I picked up a 12pack and so far all 4 cans I opened is the same. The taste is horrible.

Probably just a bad mixture at the botteling(sp?) facility.

For diet coke, DEFINETLY. My GF has some diet coke from like 2001 and man that tastes like crap. The artificial sweeteners went bad (decomposed probably) and so there is no sweetness. Tastes like seltzer water with a mild coke flavor

Yes. I have to return drinks to the convenience store down the street all the time. Seems the pepsi/ Coke guy hates the place and it gets the oldest stock.

i noted, if you drop the box (or a can)..it gets stale and tastes terrible. Probably someone (or you) dropped the 12 pack and all the bubbles are poofed out 🙂
