Stair finishing.

The hardwood flooring is ordered, part of the carpet & molding is off. I still may need to fabricate my own stair nosing.

I will start with installing the stair this coming weekend or next week, however I?m unsure as to what look I should go for.

The wall is going to be a light yellow/sandy tan colour with white baseboards, and the railing is glossy white.

Should I go for contrasting steps & risers (carbonize bamboo steps & white painted risers)? Or, I should go with overall warm tone carbonize bamboo risers & steps?

Thanks.

Yup, the nosing will be going on first, but I have to start making it if I can't find them locally. It will take 24 hours to cure after I milled & laminate the bamboo planks together with 2 coats of urethane per day. I?m expecting to have the nosing complete by the weekend if I can?t source them by tomorrow evening.

During the nosing curring time I can start to install flooring for the master bed room.

Thanks for the head up.
