i would think they had gotten over their teenage insecurities now that they are 25 with millions in the bank

Sounds like they lifted the title from Fates Warning's "A Pleasant Shade of Grey."

ehh maybe.

from what i've read, the title was made up because of how the songs sound. on previous staind albums there was a pretty clear line between hard and soft, examples from Break the Cycle; Fade and It's been a while. On their new album it's everything between, I was really impressed by how they mixed all their songs together, soft, hard and everthing between the two. and there are 14 tracks on the cd, 14 different styles of music, or different from what most people are used to hearing from staind.

it's not so much the 'pain' that he (aaron lewis) sings about, but more of life problems, things that most people go though in their day to day lives. this is one of the reasons that i personally like the band so much, because they sing about life problems that i can relate to.

BB will be selling this CD for $10 starting Tuesday.

You could also pick up the new Deftones album for $12. Rolling Stone gave it a 4 star review, and had some really terrific things to say about it. I'm looking forward to judging for myself.

whoa, chino screaming is a GOOD thing. They went back to more ATF days with this album and it's heavier than WhitePony (a great album never the less). You cant go wrong with the tones :D

I agree with you. Every song I hear from them Lewis is whining about some chick or his parents or whatever. Jesus Christ, you're an adult know, feel free to get over it any time. The first alblum wasn't so bad but they're stuff is so freaking repetitive it get's old imo.

Linkin park is a fvcking boy band.

anyway, i havent heard the new deftones, staind, or cold cd's yet but i'm going to pick them up today.

Staind's album probbably won't be anywhere near as good as their first album, Tormented. They seem to have gone downhill from there, although Dysfunction wasnt that bad. Break the Cycle is still a great album but its too friggin soft and whiney to listen to on a regular basis.
