Staind + Fred Durst - Outside. Great song, but what the hell does Fred do?

I love Staind. I love old Limp Bizkit. (not their new POS TRL CD) But Fred is a disgrace to this song. The Staind guy is pouring his heart out, i saw it on TV. He is sweating like a rabid mule and putting every ounce of passion into this song. At the end he says "Thank you so much."

All I hear Fred do is come in during a quiet part and exclaim "This is some real motha fsckin' sh|t y'all!" and you can ALMOST hear him in the chorus.



It's sad that Fred does nothing but bring down an incredible song.

Limp bizkit sucks. fred durst sucks. "im feelin' those lighters" was another thing that hack said in the song.

Yea, he does the chorus and the aforementioned shout to the crowd.

I'm tired of that guy. I like the 1st CD and 2nd somewhat but when he bashes someone who's been in the business for years and is better than lowly Fred ever hopes to be (Trent Reznor), that's just begging for a lynching.

Too bad Trent is probably making more off of the 3rd CD than Fred is, hahaha

This is a great song like you all have said. Fred Durst just basicly shouts a few times like "wave your hands in the air" and other egocentric garbage.

that's funny I thought the exact same thing when I saw the video. Fred Dilst doesn't do jack on that song!!

Must agree that it is an awesome song. I wish they could edit Fred's small "contributions" out.

yeah. its an awsome song. i first saw the video on mtv and i love the song. right after it was over i wipped out my napster and downloaded...but it is a shame that fred had to interrupt the song like that. i personally dont like limp too much. i think bands that have to advertise the name of themselves and their cd are a waste of time (aka: rollin')...thats just my opinion though

The worst thing i've seen yet of limp bizkit is on the snot tribute album. Its mainly a tribute for the death of the lead vocals of the band snot. in it a variety of artists perform songs that talk about or remind them of the singer. Limp bizkit's song naturally mentions the words 'Limp Bizkit, FOREVER' i mean cmon its a tribute album, no real need to mention your band's name in the song. it just really bothered me for some reason...
