You can get some carpet cleaner and try that.....maybe Tuff Stuff or another cheap foaming cleanser. They will get into the upholstry and bring the stain to the surface...just be prepared to apply it 2 or 3 times to get all of it out.

use some gasoline and a lighter

Try Oxyclean. it really does work. read how much to desolve on the bottle with water and it will get it out. pat it dry afterwards!
