Stacking RAM chips

I remember seeing a product that would allow you to stack RAM chips. So if you had a 16 meg chip, you could use a stacker and add another 16 meg chip. I happen to have tons of 16 meg EDO RAM chips. Does anyone know of a stacker that would allow me to add more RAM? I have 4 or 5 older machines that use EDO and they are all maxed out at a total of 64 megs. I would like to get a stacker to up them to 128. Is there such a thing?

Check the chipset before even bothering to look. 430FX, VX, and TX boards cannot use more than 64MB w/o a slow down. 430NX, LX, and HX boards can take more depending on thier cache.

I've used the 30 pin variety, but when I tried the 72 pin I found out 2 things
1. single sided only
2. won't work with EDO
Something to do with buffering is the problem
been a while but I think this is right:frown:
