Stacked with Daniel Negreanu - mini review

This game has been pushed back a bunch of times, was supposed to come out 5/30 but the Gamestop out here said they didn't get any when I called. My friend found it, dunno what store. I love Poker, and have really been looking forward to this one...

Why the HELL does every Poker game I've played have horrible animation?
it's simple, a bunch of dudes sitting around a table playing cards. I know the focus of the game isn't animation, but they look like robots, and frames of animations seem to be missing.
Some idiot magazine hyped it as the Halo of Poker (I didn't like Halo so...) and carried on about the A.I. being so great, blah blah blah. The game features a half a dozen different AI bots (or some sh!t like that) much better AI then the WPT game, but I wasn't blown away. Did I mention the animation sucks? Oh, and the chips look like H E L L.
I played it for about an hour, overall it was sorta fun, but I'm glad Gamestop didn't get it, cos that kept me from buying it. All that said, this is probably the best Poker game we'll see. Anyone else played it and have an opinion? Maybe I just need to give it more time

I don't understand the point of these games. If you want to play poker, just goto any number of online sites and play for free.

a lot of people are too intimidated to play against real people online.

I got World Series of Poker for xbox when I was first learning the game. I used it as a training tool for preflop play. It was easy to zip through hands, just focusing on the first 2 cards. btw there are better players in my local 3/6 games than what the AI can throw at you in WSOP.

I believe this one has online play, along with a internet ranking system. The online ones are pretty crummy, the poker aspect is great but the presentation is boring. Stacked ain't perfect but it ups the anty with the graphics and whole feel of the game. It's cool to have Daniel talking and giving you pointers. Playing it I felt more like I was watching poker on TV, where when I play on PokerRoom.com I don't get that *shrug* if the online aspects of the game take off, it could really cool to shoot for #1 spot.
