I ordered some games today that ordinarily cost $65 and $20 and I ended up paying $35.

If you order 2 or more digital download games (I ordered Dragon Age:Origins Digital Deluxe and Red Alert 3 Uprising) you get 40% off. Already a good deal right? But if you also add the promo code "EAPARTNERS2009", you get an ADDITIONAL 30% off.

That's pretty big discount. The 40% off is until 12/24. I don't know about the additional stackable discount. And I don't know if they'll call me on it, but I've already paid so it looks like it'll go through.

W00t this is an awesome deal for Dragon Age:Origins Deluxe! Its normally $60+, I got that and Mirror's Edge for $36 even! Great post OP!!!!!!!!!

I was a little worried about using EA's download service at first, especially because of this:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EA_Store#Download_limitations

But its such a great deal, I don't think we'll see the Deluxe Edition for $36 anywhere else anytime soon, plus I got Mirror's Edge as a bonus. Also, there are instructions here for backing up the game so you don't have to deal with the download limitations, hopefully it works:

I ended up picking up Mass Effect with Pinnacle Station and Crysis for another $22. So the final tally is for $58, I picked up:

    Dragon Age: Origins Deluxe
    Red Alert 3 Uprising
    Mass Effect
    Crysis

not a bad haul if I do say so myself... Should be a nice way to break in my newly purchased Radeon 4890.

Has anybody gotten the Dragon Age Deluxe Edition exclusives (The Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep) to install properly? I purchased the deluxe edition, but both of them show up in "Available Content" instead of "Installed Content," and it wants me to pay 1800 points for them!

Figured it out... the confirmation e-mail from the EA-Store contained this:

    Product SKU: FREE
Product Name: Dragon Age: Origins - Digital Deluxe Extras
    Qty Ordered: 1
    Amount: $0.00
    Digital Rights: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

The XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX was my redeem code, I'm downloading the Deluxe edition extras as we speak!

That is pretty dumb, it turns out you buy a 1 year rental, and if after that, if something goes wrong, and you need to reinstall, then you must buy another year rental from them?

    No sale.

EA always pulls this kind of crazy crap.

I had to pirate dl BF2 when it came out

because they had a big batch of bad DVD's

and I got tired of going back to BB to get a new copy

so I dl'd it off whatever I was using at the time, probably TFTP warez....

This is why EA gets no money from me. They want you to pay $6 extra for a 5 year "Extended Download Service".. really? If i wanted to rent a game i'd go to blockbuster.

I had it all in the cart and all but the order submitted for about $36 for Dragon Age Deluxe.. and Mass Effect, but bailed because of the download service. I'll wait for Dragon Age to be at least $29 for a box before I buy. besides I have too many games to play right now...

That's not the way I read it - looks like you can back up the downloads and use them to reinstall, you just can't download again after the time limit.

Still kinda lame, but at the discount in this thread I ain't complaining!

uh, WTF? Digital River just refunded $27.54 into my paypal account for no reason. Dragon Age still seems to work though. I guess I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Did anyone else get a refund?

They really expect you to keep the same machine forever? I should have read. Granted I did get 6 games for 80 dollars but its just a long rental?!

hope that method you posted works for backing games up dogshu
