I've been having some problems with my computer. When gaming, the machine will blue screen and "Machine Check Exception" occurs. I have only experienced this crash while gaming. I've logged the temps a few times, and right before the computer crashes, the GPU is usually 5C below it's full load... around 62C. If I touch the northbridge's heatsink, it will feel hot, almost to the point of burning (I believe that means it's around ~70C). I've run memtest86 for over 8 hours with no errors (or problems), and ran folding at home for 3 days straight, without any crashes.

Athlon 64 3700+ @ 42C full load
XFX GeForce 6600 GT @ 68C full load
2x512mb OCZ gold edition DDR400 cas 2-2-2-5@2.8V dual channel
MSI K8N Neo4-F
Raptor 10K
DVDRW 4x
DVDRW 16x
Zip 100 IDE
Seasonic S12-380 power supply

I suspect the Northbridge might be overheating, but I am not sure. I've also heard about the IDE drivers causing problems as well. I removed all my ide drives, and I still experienced the crash (at least, I'm pretty sure, I did that a while ago). Computer runs fine in linux, too.
