I'm going to build up my first 'puter. So an easy setup, would be nice to begin with.
I don't want to challenge the Asus MB, since I've read that they might cause a lot of trouble (I mean without the big experience you'r lost).
So far the Iwill, Epox and Abit has arrived at my top 3 list. Iwill can't be purchased around here, so it is out of the question.
So the choice is between Abit and Epox. The last should be quite easy to setup, but it lack possibilities when it comes to OC'ing (which I only might try). The Abit seems to have both stability and OC'ing options at hand.
I'm planning to run a Duron 750mhz.

It would be nice with some opinions on the thing.

Well I don't know any problems to setting up a Asus A7V133 or the A7V, They are one of the easier boards to set up, If you read some reviews they will say how easy and stable the Asus is, Same as with the Epox, I think you would be happy with either, Just me but I think the Asus or the Epox would be easier than the Abit and they are both rated highter than the Abit

Pilgaard,
I have the Iwill KK266 and an Abit KT7R and a KT7A, all are stable boards for me, I am having some USB problems on the Iwill presently that are limiting my overclocking, but have not tried the Intellimouse on the Abit boards, I believe it's a 686b issue.

Any way I am partial to Abit personally, but thats just me

Go for an 8KTA3. There's 6 jumpers to setup, most likely you won't have to touch any of them since 5 are for enabling various options (which are well stated in the manual) and one is for the 100/133 FSB selection.

If you can figure out how to attach an HSF you can setup this board w/o any problems. It's stupid-easy.
