stable all in one nforce board

I was wondering what the best nforce board is that has LAN, onboard sound, and video? It needs to be stable, I am building a few computers for some friends of mine, they don't really do any gaming, so I figured one of these boards might be good for them.

I have to disagree.... Unless you want the extra "overclocking" features of the ASUS board, get the MSI board. Its cheaper and performs equally. Don't bother paying extra for things you don't want or need.

Get the MSI K7N420 Pro motherboard (nForce 420-D chipset).

It comes with GeForce2 MX graphics, nForce sound, LAN, modem, and NIC.

Get K7N420 Pro unless you are the serious overclocker. if you are then get A7N266-E (Ace's Hardware btw recently declared it the best ocing board for the Athlon), but really there's nothing wrong with K7N420 Pro. Plus it's got 6 USB, something that A7N can't claim

Btw DaiShan, what's your budget? Abit's mATX nForce board might be a good option for you since it's cheap and since it seems like all you need is a highly integrated solution, and so the # of PCI slots won't matter to your friends....

Exactly right. The MSI board performs very well, just doesn't overclock as well as the ASUS. Plus, the ASUS is well over $160, while some places have the MSI board in the $130's.

Wait for the 415-D (w/o intergrated video) nForce boards if you have your own video card. They should be due out this month. They should be $10-$20 less than the currently 420-D nForce boards.
