I currently have my duron 600 @ 950 running at 1.75voltage. What program out there will let my system test its limit to check stability. I question my system is truely stable because althought i have very few lockups, currently all i have time to do is browse the web, check email and occasionally play brief minutes of quake 3. What program out there can really test this system to check if its stable. Thanks...

Well you could always join TA's RC5 Team

I also have used this program called Stability Test

bith should test the stabilty pretty well
also try looping the Unreal Intro

It does not matter what you use to test it with. Try all the 3D programs and games you have each for around 30 minutes.

If they all work without any lockups or exits you have a pretty stable system.

not so Coki. a lot of people find that even though Quake3 and 3DMark and UT can loop endlessly, distributed computing projects like rc5, prime95 and seti@Home will still lock the cpu. there's actually a thread in the dc forum right now discussing it. check it out.
