Stabiblity issue in networking

I'm going to build a LAN networking(purposely for gaming) with several PC, and I decided to get VIA Apollo Pro 133A mobo(MSI6309) and GeForce2mx for those PC. But I had heard a lot of crap things(stability) with this setup, especially in networking environment, is it true? And will it effect the stability if I use intergrated mobo(MSI6309 had sound build-in) for netwotking? I'll appreciate if anyone help me out. Thanks.
