How come on St. Patrick's day everyone pretends to be Irish, but on Cinco de Maya no one pretends to be Mexican? 😕

i dunno..

either way u get drunk.

First it's Cinco de Mayo. And yes it is just another excuse to get wasted.

Corned beef was $.99/pound at Shaw's...

Picked up like 4 huge pieces....put 3 in the freezer and I'll make one tonight.

I love how the rest of the year the Corned Beef is like $5-$6/lb...

🙂

What does it matter? It's still an excuse to drink! Guiness, Corona... whatever.
We need an official "Jamaican day", drink rum and smoke... whatever. (If you're into that sort of thing.) Actually, Boston does have something like that, now that I think about it.

some people take it to the extremes...i know somebody who puts green food coloring in their milk to seem irish...
The thing that I always used to love as a kid, was going to McD's and getting their green-colored shakes! Now that I think about it, I might just do that again, for old-times sake. Don't think I've had a "green shake" for years. Then again, the magic has kind of worn off, I think that they just add some food-coloring, right?

Coors butchered the receipe. Beamish is where it's at. Made in Cork, the best city in all of Ireland.

I don't really drink, so its just another day to me. Besides, I don't get it off so I could really care less. If you don't get the day off, its not a real holiday

Only thing more annoying that an Irishman is an Australian.

Says the wannabe Brit..

Wannabe? Do me a favour, mate. I live in Canada. I'm Canadian legally. I don't live like one. I still have my Marmite on toast every morning...

😀
