St Patrick's Weekend!!

Due to the resounding success of the GuinessVote.ca campaign... Monday has been declared a National Holiday!!!

Nahh.. just kidding, but it bloody well should be... We of the Green decent (you orange folk don't count 😛), have earned the right through hard labour at the pubs, establishments, bars and halls, imparted a love of the drink to the common folk who wish they were Irish, and deserve recognition... 😀

And stay out Skoorb... ye bloody Brit...

😛

I've got my Guinness, a 6 pack of Harp, and two bottles of whiskey (Jameson and Paddy's, which is impossible to buy here in the USA).

But I think I should consider stocking up, this being St. Patrick's Day and all.

I'll be having a few Guinness tonight...probably a few tomorrow night, and then after work on Monday i'm going straight to the bar. 😀

I'll be sure to drink plenty of Guinness tonight (and for the next few days 🙂)

<---- English, but with Irish roots.

What is the difference between green and orange folk?

Ryan

green are Roman Catholic, orange are Protestant (English in other words)
That's the story behind the Irish flag:
the green stripe represents the Irish (predominantly Catholic), the orange represents teh English (predominantly Protestant), and the white stripe in themiddle represents peace and understanding between the two sides.
