Are there any options here? I was disappointed to see that a TYAN board I had my eye on is not EATX, but something called 'SSI MEB' which I actually have not heard of yet (then again, I'm a newb when it comes to server form factors).

I need a proper tower case and also had my eye on the Antec Titan (?), but to no avail. Help!

The Stacker 810 supports these boards. It's the only such case I know of though.

Just went and checked that out- thanks. Looks decent, though I hate stuff that is branded on the outside by the chassis manufacturer. Nonetheless, it could be just the ticket...

Any other models out there you guys know of that accomodate various mobos like this one does?

Shame, with Woodcrest right around the corner.
V2000 FTW, though I believe several other (cheaper) Lian-Li cases can accomodate one as well. Not sure if the Lian-Li G70 can [</fanboyism>] but I'm sure several other models can.

Check their site out.

Just out of curiosity, what are you gonna be doing with this workstation that needs 8 cores?? I only ask, because I have a Dual Dual Core (2x285 Opterons) workstation, and I have yet to maximize even 3 cores in any environment besides 4xPrime instances. Plus 285s are alot cheaper than 885s per chip :p.

Getting back to the Case decision. I bought a Lian-Li PC-201B and im absolutely loving this case. Its stylish, incredibly functional and cooled really really well. Plus it has 12HDD slots and 7 5.25 Bays. However I think a 4 chip board may be too big for this case as well?? But it works amazingly for a 2 chip board for sure, and if an EATX 4 chip board does exist, I would definitely go PC-201B.
