I sold a custom made audio cable to some guy in Ebay.
He told me it's broken, so I made another one and put extra $4 for return shipment.
Fast forward a month, he still hasn't sent me the cable back.
He used to reply message fairly quickly.
And then last week he decided to pull something and said the replacement cable is broken also. It sounded fishy, so I told him the only resolution is to send everything back to me and I will refund him the amount. He hasn't replied for a week.

Here's the interesting thing, he has a very unique last name, Lecorchick that is.
I just put that this last name in yahoo people search, in the US there's only 7x people under that last name. There's one happened to be in the same town as this guy.
So I did a longer search and find out a Lecorchick in Fort Collins, Co is a Colorado State University faculty. The homepage listed his tel no. and email. I am pretty sure that guy is the ebayer's dad. He did mention about his dad sending him the money to pay me for the item before. So when do you think is a good time to contact his father?
I will give him the benefit of the doubt because it might be spring break in Colorado State, but I am pretty sure he wants to ignore me.

Jerk boy by the name of Lecorchick in Fort Collins, Co tries to pull a stunt on poor ol' Unclewai.
Coincidentally there's a Lecorchick in Fort Collins, Co that is a faculty in Colorado State.
Unclewai believes the faculty is his daddy, wondering when's a good time to give his daddy a call.

I just sent his possible dad an email.
He's an IT professor in Colorado state, so I guess he got to check his email.
Giving a phone call sounds a little harsh. I will see if he responds, else I will give him a call this weekend.
 
How old is this guy? Is his dad going to even care? From my experience with dealing with another person's parents, they're more likely to side with their child than with you. It only takes the son to lie to his dad for your credibility to go to the crapper.
 
Hope you don't mind, I took some initiative and just called from an untraceable phone line and told the dad I was you. I said "I sold your son a custom made audio cable on eBay, and I swear to god if he doesn't pay me I'm going to come to your house and kill your whole fcking family."

That should do the trick. You can thank me later when they send the payment. 😀

I called again and made similar threats. I'll continue to call every hr or so until he listens and obeys.

Thanks chief.
If I do see my parts back, I will sure to reward you.
But if I get send to jail, will you share half of my sentence?

I still haven't gotten any answer.
I don't really care about the amount in place ~$50.
But the fact that I went beyond by sending him a replacement and return shipping first, and now he wants to screw me over, that pisses me off.
