SSHD for gaming?

My Samsung 1TB is pushing 5 years of age and I would like to replace it. How do Solid State Hybrid Drives cut it for gaming, in terms of decreasing load times? Seagate sell 2TB drives for not much more than a standard 2TB HDD. Is it worth the small premium?

Only if you die over and over again, and keep playing the same level 😉

I wouldn't bother with it, I rather save the $$$ and get a SSD instead.

The SSHD is only good for making Windows and your primary apps load at SSD speeds. Random stuff like the next level of your game - not so much. 🙁

Too bad, I seriously considered it too! OTOH, if you can't afford a big SSD and need a new drive ANYWAY, it's a better choice than a plain old drive!
