With the help of other members here I successfully set up my new NAS RAID 1 system.

What I'm having trouble with now is copying the files from my 1TB MyBookLive to my Synology DS212J. I researched it for a bit and found that rsync seems to be the common solution, however, I couldn't find any actual how-to or tutorial on how to do that.
DSM doesn't have an option to copy files from another NAS.
Should I just do it via my PC? ie: Just copy/paste or will that affect speed? To be honest, I'm not really sure how it works if I used my PC, transferring the files process I mean, will the "route" of the files be:
- MyBookLive -> PC -> Synology
Or:
- MyBookLive -> Synology
I'm not sure if that makes any sense. Anyway, if anyone can recommend a method, I'd be grateful.
P.S.
I apologize if this is not the correct place to post this, I assumed that since the common solution is rsync/ssh then it relates to networking.
