SSE2 in Barton?

Anybody heard anything regarding Barton implementing SSE2? AMD has a liscense for SSE2, but I don't think that they can implement it in their products until 2003 and AMD has all but delayed Barton until 2003. Hammer will have SSE2 extensions.

I dunno... maybe I'm just trying to cheer to hard for the underdog.

Intel and AMD have a cross-liscensing agreement. Any extension one makes to the x86 ISA, the other can use at their pleasure. So no, AMD doesn't have to wait till 2003. I also seriously doubt Barton will have SSE2 as it does require quite a bit of redesigning to incorporate SSE2.
