SSD Upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade to a 960GB/1TB SSD from my current 250 GB samsung 840 non-evo non-pro (which I'm giving to my younger brother).

I was hoping to spend about 200-230ish USD, I've seen the SanDisk Ultra II as low as $199, and the Mushkin Reactor as low as $230. Is there anything else that should be on my radar other than those two? With the added constraint that I'd rather avoid Samsung's non-pro drives.

Edit: It's for the rig in my sig, I don't care about M.2 right now because I'm likely to stick with the same CPU/MoBo/RAM for at least 1, and possibly 2-3 more years.

For low $200 those two sound about right. The other ones are more $300.

there were crucial mx200 and bx100s on sale back during black friday, they were going for around $265.

I think the sandisk is slightly faster, but for $230 your choices for up to 1TB are going to be slim.

I'm seeing some bad reviews on Newegg that the Sandisk Ultra II has stability problems. Just something to look out for.
