SSD Tweaks with Windows 7 - Confused!

I just purchased OCZ Agility Series OCZSSD2-1AGT60G 2.5" 60GB for a Windows 7 install. I have been reading up on tweaks at

http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/forum.php

and

http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/3116/tweaktown_s_solid_state_drive_optimization_guide/index.html

There is a lot of conflicting information and I am confused as to what tweaks are necessary and desirable for a windows 7 installation that will be used for video editing. OCZ, tweaktown, Microsoft, and forums do not agree in many cases! I will use the SSD for the OS drive, but will have traditional hard drives for the video files. Thanks for any advice.

No tweaks needed for Win7.
Everything else is just BS that will give you a 0.05% performance increase ... while making the machine unstable or disabling useful functionality.

I think you might be right...(I'm personally debating if I should do the tweaks or leave it alone and I think I'll leave it alone.)

The only tweak you might want to consider (if you have a lot of RAM) is to set up a Ramdisk for your browser cache.
That should help prolong the life of your SSD and might even improve speed.

Yep instead of 5+ years, 8years.. great. The only problem is that 60 oder even 160GB won't be that great by that time so you'll have to upgrade so or so.

Totally not worth the hassle with a ramdisk imho.

I will have 6 gig of RAM, but I expect that video encoding will take that up pretty easily. I assume that a Ramdisk probably would not help me too much.
