so my computer currently has an 120gb samsung evo 750 for OS and 1TB hdd for games and stuff which just broke..I have decided to buy an 1TB SSD to replace it.Would like to keep it around 100 euro or even lower and I would also like to stick to the samsung brand...maybe a QVO 860?Idk,leave me your thoughts.I want to use it for games keep that in mind.I am not looking for 1 second loading times since any ssd will be infinitely better than my hdd,but I want a decent one.

This is probably due to the old HDD being installed when Windows 10 was installed onto the 120 SSD. It has a very irritating habit of putting hidden small amounts of code on there which it then depends on, specific to the volume in question.

You will need to repair the BCD at minimum, and may have to temporarily reconnect the HDD momentarily to adjust any necessary changes.

Read some here to get an idea of what is happening :

after installing the second ssd i tried removing it and booting only with C disk,i also put the hdd back, same results. Also i don t think it was installed when i installed windows.since the ssd has like 3 extra functioning hours on record than the ssd.anyway, reinstalling windows should be the ultimate and guaranteed fix.

UPDATE:So I brought my PC to a specialized and authorized service.Turns out my PC was configured in a weird way,the guy there who was about 45 years old and has been working in this domain his entire life said he had never seen something like it.I didn't remember much of what he said because I was just happy to have my computer working again, but he said a part of windows was somehow installed on the hdd which was broken as you know and that's why my entire PC was faulty.I told him to install the windows on the new 1TB ssd as you guys advised me and oh boy it feels new.I will use the old 120GB ssd as random storage from now on.Thank you all for your help :)

did he give u the PC back with a "fresh new windows 10" ?

If so, all he did was "reset this PC" in one of the windows bootup options.

You cannot be sure of this. While a reset can be an option at times, it is just as easy to install a fresh Windows 10 from a flash drive.

No he didn t just reset the PC.He manually took the windows files from both the old drives and repaired then then he put them on the new ssd.He updated every single driver possible and he even made me a boot partition in the drive to make sure this won't happen again.Anyway like I told you he did other stuff too but for me it was pure chinese.
