ssd setting in bios question

got my first ssd and im not sure what the correct setting in bios.

I know you set a hhd to ide and ssd to ahci.

but what do you set it to ,when you have both installed.

sata 0 : ssd (os)
sata 1 : hhd

You want both set to AHCI, even hard drives.

If you installed your OS to the hard drive with it set to IDE, then changing it to AHCI will cause it to blue screen however. There are workarounds to fix this such as this one: LINK
