SSD reliability

Anything change in the last 2 years, are Samsung, Intel, and Sandisk SSDs still the most reliable?

If so, which one would you pick for a 240GB model?

Well... any brand can fail, so, no matter the choice, keep backups.
Out of the three listed, I would go with intel.

I'd go for an SSD over a HDD (except where very high capacity is an absolute requirement) every time, simply because SSDs have no moving parts in, plus they're a lot faster than HDDs. They've been in the mainstream long enough for the big names to have got in on the act and come up with reliable products.

I tend to go for Samsung's PRO series, which is doing pretty well on Tech Report's SSD endurance tests. The 850 PRO series has a ten year warranty as well.

samsung 850 pro or evo.
I bought the pro as even if my crucial m4 was after 4 years at 95% still like new, speed and stability for me meant samsung 850 pro.
evo is due to christmas.

What I don't like about sammy is, if (when?) the unit does fail, then you get to experience the samsung RMA process, which is about as bad as it gets, and get back a refurbed unit.
Never tried Sandisk yet.
