Hi,

I have already read "which SSD not to buy" so eliminated kingston from my list, please check below and let me know whats the best to buy for win 7 32 bit ultimate OS, SATA-II Mobo and usage for normal browsing (as a dev may include working in Java and IDEs):
1. Transcend 128 GB SSD Internal Hard Drive (TS128GSSD25S-M)
2. SanDisk 120 GB SSD Internal Hard Drive (Ultra 120 GB)
3. Strontium SATA-II 115GB 2.5" Solid State Drive GAMMA Series
4. Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (CSSD-F120GB3-BK)
5. OCZ Vertex 120GB 2 SATA II 2.5inch Solid Sata Drive (OCZSSD2-2VTXE120G)

Thank you

That sandisk looks like it's the same as this one at newegg. I've been watching that drive for a couple of weeks, it's been getting great reviews right and left, with nearly 0 negatives. In fact, the only recent bad review was from a non-verified owner. ~ $213 seems a bit high to me these days for a 120gb hd, but I don't know what comparable drives go for in india right now.

Thank you, So the sandisk is the good one from the list? Also what about Intel 320?

Thank you, there is Intel 320 Series SSDSA2CW120G3K5 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive
Are you able to get the Intel 320 series? If not I'd go with the Corsair or Sandisk.

Intel 320 is lightyears ahead of all the others. I'd pay at least a 30% premium for the intel over something like the sandisk, and I wouldn't even consider the others at all with the intel as an option. It looks like it's only about 10% more than the sandisk, so definitely get the intel. The only thing you need to do on the intel is verify that the latest firmware is installed, they had an issue earlier this year that was fixed with an update (mid-august IIRC).

Intel all the way. They may not be the fastest in the block, but their reliability is untouchable.

<--- Owner of 2 Intel 160gb SSD's.

Thank you, so I will go for Intel 320 then. How to check about the firmware? Do I need to check some specific numbers in the SSD or need to call the sellers?

Also here is my machine spec:
Processor: AMD Athlon II 640 Propus
Motherboard: Asus M4A88T-M
RAM: Transcend 4 GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
