ssd question

so i bought an ssd from frys corsair force series 3 120gb for $120.. and i was wondering if i should keep it or not. i dont have a sata3 mobo, i have a sata 2. would the drive be useful or should i just return it?

Keep it. Sata III drives work just as well as Sata II, and really are better logevity wise... One day you'll be able to use SataIII, until then, it's just fine.

-edit-

Also, the difference between SataII and SataIII is almost in perceivable, unless you're dealing with HUGE files I don't think you could ever tell the difference 🙂

OMG keep it! That's a great drive! Wow. Fry's? Hitting the magic $1/GB price point no less! Man. I want one. Or two so I can RAID them.
