Article SSD Pricing Could Tumble as NAND Prices Predicted to Drop by 35%

I don't think that this poses risk to the industry, does it?

The typical worry is that a price crash will drive one of the major players out of the market, either through a (near-)bankruptcy and acquisition or a pivot away from the leading edge. However, Intel's already in the process of exiting the market, SK hynix is much more competitive than they were a few years ago, and if YMTC runs into trouble they can probably get propped up by the Chinese government. So in the long run this probably won't lead to anything worse than a temporary reduction in R&D spending and slower build-out of fab capacity for the next generation of flash.
