SSD is slow after putting system together.

There is a delay before the hour glass comes. You click and have to wait a half second maybe 1 second then the hourglass begins to work.

I hope this doesnt mean I have to format ,,,,,, hmmmmmmm

I have no idea how TRIM works, but is this where it goes to work and makes it faster again ?

Have you used something like a stopwatch to test, or is it just that they 'feel' slower now ?

How exactly are we supposed to help you? You have provided zero information about what you have done or the configuration you have. Is it even your PC? Is it one you have assembled for somebody else? The thread title eludes to this. What were the steps you followed to arrive at your current situation?

Windows is just... slow. It can be fast, but it can be slow. My first install of windows 7 took about 30 seconds just to login. 2nd install, it's 5 seconds. Windows is weird like that. I would start by reinstalling and see if the new install is faster.

OK WAIT Sorry guys. IT WAS SLOW BECAUSE THERE was this stupid SAS64core the antispyware thing, I went to services just now turned it off ,, and ended task and now things launch instantly like they used to.. it was software related. thanks to all
