SSD Interface - SATA or PCI-Express?

NewEgg had a sale on their OCZ SSD drive but it is using PCI-Express X4 instead of SATA interface. I wonder if PCI-Express X4 will provide faster I/O than SATA2 or 3?

It's a lot faster than SATA3GB or SATA6GB ports. The questions are; are you willing to pay for that price and does you mother board allow booting to that drive.
