Which moment do you think it's best to buy an SSD?

Given that I have a 6 month window, would you buy it now or after christmas?

Any new groundbreaking technology coming out?

I would personally hold out for the due-any-minute Samsung 830. Full review on the site. Intel has its 520 out soon, be worth investigating as well.

I'd say the M4 is already pretty cheap isn't it?

I wouldn't rush into buying the latest SSD from any company, even Intel, until its on a market for at least 6 months. Reliability is a major concern with SSDs right now, IMHO.
