I want to use some 64GB/120GB SSD drives in a few of my servers, and offer them up as VPS's.
The cost will be a little more, but my question is, is the performance that much better compared to say 74gb raptors in raid1?
I plan to set up these systems as my nodes :
q9550
8gigs of ram
single 64GB SSD
I am just not finding any RECENT benchmarks on SSD drives, in the VPS world. Anyone ever do this at all, with vmware/openvz/xen??
