SSD drive and alignment Win7 64bit

Hello, I just jumped on the SSD bandwagon and installed Win7 on a OCZ Vertex2 60GB drive. I have TRIM supported ect... but what is bugging me is how can I check I have 4k byte alignment of my sectors?

And if not how can I change it without reinstalling windows?

Also what can I do about that 100meg partition that windows makes when you do a fresh install? From what I can tell that makes my offset alignment not fall on a whole number? Does this matter?

I also have a second HD installed but its a mechanical drive, for storage...

Thanks!

You dont have to with Win7 whatsoever. This is an XP thing. Also do not delete the 100Mb partition as there are required system files within.

You have to partition the disk before installing Windows to keep the install from making the 100Mb partition. I don't know how to get rid of it after- since Windows puts the boot loader there. It's needed only if you have a MB that supports- and you wish to use BitLocker.
