I just got a 120gb OCZ Agility 3 sata 3 ssd yesterday and cloned my 80gb Intel ssd onto it. The Intel drive came with an IcyDock a couple years ago when I got it from newegg. Does anyone know if I can use that dock with my OCZ drive and get full sata 3 speeds, or are docks rated for sata 2, 3, etc. ?

I've never seen one with a rating but I haven't looked for awhile.

There was a hub-bub awhile back where one dock manfg (Thermaltake?) actually did limit the speeds but I can't remember if it was limited to SATA 1 or 2 specs.

I can't think of any easy SATA3 test for ya so the only thing I can suggest is check the manfgs page.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I used the IcyDock chat w/ a rep and they helped me identify it (oddly the case didn't have any kind of model number on it) and it is indeed 6gb capable. :)

Sure, here is the link to it on the IcyDock site.
IC says the blind Old Hippie. :)

I have 2 of those but they're considered 2.5" to 3.5" HD converters.

Even though the specs say
Transfer Rate : Up to 6Gb/sec
I didn't see anything that actually shows that speed.

I tried to look at the Crucial Adobe review but it seems to make my machine go crazy.

AAR, from what they say you're good to go!

Good Luck!
