SSD Controller insides new Macbook Air?

I haven't found a single notes about what controller it will be using. I have they have ditched the old and slow Samsung controller for something much better.

Honestly MAC puts the cheapest components in their rigs, both desktop and mobile

I mean they sell a mobile 8 core xeon while the video card is a 2900XT ,, talk about bottleneck.... THey probably put a hitachti or a IBM coughs,, JK JKJK, hd as well. Also cheap brand RAM ,, and what not. thx

it is a Toshiba T6UG1XBG Solid State Drive controller. I have no idea of this controller, could be a re branded one. But Why would apple use something like this where no one has heard of, and probably unproven.

I wonder if it is a plug in based SATA connection that the "SSD" is using or an 1x PCI-E Express slot.
 
Oops. I meant to say I thought it would be an unheard of controller. Most likely so conservative so as to be as slow as an old Samsung 🙂
