SSD benchmarks. Are these good?

It wasn't. But I switched to the SATA III port and it's no better. Same benchmarks and I get a "pciide - BAD" error whereas before it recognized AHCI. And yes, I checked BIOS, AHCI is turned on.

I have a Gigabyte P55a-UD3 motherboard. It does have SATA III ports.
 
Even though your MB has SATA III ports they are not on the Intel chipset and I'm sure performance is worse.

You need to read this article to see what's happening with your drive.

I would put the drive back on an Intel SATAII port and enable write caching in the device manager.
 
How full is the drive? Asynchronous NAND MLC potentially degrades more quickly when the drive is closer to full.
 
Talked to a friend. The problem lies with using a P55 motherboard. One more reason to move to Sandy Bridge I guess.
