SSD and XP & Dual booting XP and windows 7 on ssd

What are the most important things to configure when running xp on a ssd. Planning on dual booting windows 7 and xp on a supertalent me 128gb is there anything special that ill need todo to do this.
 
If I use disk management in windows 7 to partition and format a new partition on the drive then i install xp without formatting on to that partition is it aligned?
