SSD and HHDerase?

Trying to use HHDerase on my OCZ Core series of SSD (60GB). I have followed all the instructions and when I get to the last stage before the erase begins it tells me that my OCZ Core series does not support secure erase. Is there another app I should use? I've been using this drive for my OS for months now, installed Vista 64 and Win7 64 a few times, and have had lots of traffic on it.

Figured that I would benefit from the erase feature as described in the AT article to restore some of the performance. Am I doing something wrong or these drives just dont support or benefit from such an operation?

What about HD Tune? It has a couple of algorithms for erasing data (like writing all 1s, or the DOD algorithm, etc). That said, if your goal is to achieve new drive performance, I don't think this will do it.
