SSD and battery voltage

I have an old mp3 player (nw-hd5) with a 3.7v battery and a 3.3v hard drive, I found an ssd that I can replace it with but it's 5v. Is this going to be a problem?

I doubt an older device like that will support 128GB. Maybe, maybe not. I would have kept it to 32GB or 64GB.

Look into Compact Flash cards (CF) with CF-to-IDE(ATA) adapter. Most Compact Flash cards are both 3.3v and 5v tolerant (will work fine with either). e.g.

According to other owners it doesn't support any of the kingspec drives, nor does it support cf cards at all
