I have two ssd.
I updated the firmware successfully on the one with Windows on it.
I can't update the second one.
Windows 11 pro, asus prime z690-p, rapid storage enabled.
The bootable iso doesn't boot. I get a black screen. I tried numerous combination. (I used rufus)

Are you using the Magician software to update it?
Yes.
Solved it.
1. Disabled Rapid Storage from BIOS.
2. Booted a Windows To Go from an external SSD.
3. Installed Samsung Magician on the Windows To Go.

4. Updated firmware.
5. Don't forget to enable back Rapid Storage, otherwise Windows will not boot.
6. Done.

PS: Magician didn't even give any errors. It always stated that the firmware is installed. After reboot, the old firmware was still there.

PS2: On another Dell PC (8th gen i5), also with two 980 PRO SSDs, I had to use Standard SATA driver for it to work. In this case, ISO from Samsung also didn't work. It didn't detect any of the SSDs.
